On July 26, Wang Yi, Director of the Sichuan Provincial Employment Service Administration, along with his delegation, paid a visit to Tongyou Group’s 2.5-billion-yuan inductor production base for inspection and guidance, accompanied by city leaders including Zhao Jianren, Vice Mayor of Bazhong; Shi Yongquan, Deputy Secretary-General of the Bazhong Municipal Government; and Zhang Yuming, Party Secretary and Director of the Bazhong Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security.

Director Wang Yi and his delegation visited the company’s exhibition hall and its automated inductor production line. Manager Wang Wei provided a detailed briefing on the company’s development journey, strategic plans, production projects, product facilities, organizational structure, talent requirements, and talent‑development system, giving Director Wang Yi and the other leaders a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operational status and future prospects.

In October 2022, Tongyou Group invested in the construction of a Western R&D and Production Base in Tongjiang County, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province, covering an area of over 20,000 square meters. The facility includes R&D laboratories, an inductor production line, a materials‑processing workshop, and supporting infrastructure. Commercial operations commenced in June this year, with plans to reach an annual production capacity of 3 billion units by June 30, 2024, generating an annual output value of RMB 500 million and contributing RMB 50 million in tax revenue. Tongyou Microelectronics (Sichuan) Co., Ltd. has received high praise and full recognition from Director Wang Yi for its outstanding contributions to boosting local employment in Sichuan.

Recently, Sichuan Province issued the “Several Measures for Building a Youth‑Development‑Oriented Province” (hereinafter referred to as the “Measures”). With regard to promoting employment and entrepreneurship among college graduates and other young people, Director Wang Yi stated that the Measures focus on four key areas—innovative policy guidance, tapping into job‑creation opportunities, enhancing employment services, and strengthening targeted support—to help ensure high‑quality, full‑employment outcomes for college graduates and other youth.

Director Wang Yi emphasized that youth employment, particularly among college graduates, is vital to people’s well-being and high-quality economic development, and it carries the hopes of countless families. We must elevate our political awareness, thoroughly study and implement the important directives of the Party and the state on college graduate employment and entrepreneurship, fully carry out the relevant decisions and arrangements of the provincial Party committee and provincial government, and regard promoting college graduate employment as a major political responsibility. We will pursue a coordinated approach that integrates industry, enterprises, entrepreneurship, and employment, while rectifying educational biases and implementing an integrated mechanism linking employment, admissions, and training.

Director Wang Yi stated that, going forward, the Sichuan Provincial Employment Service Administration will promote targeted training programs at Sichuan’s universities and vocational schools, aligning institutional curricula and students’ skill sets with the labor market’s demand. By establishing a comprehensive vocational education system and adopting a “government–school–enterprise” collaborative model, the administration aims to alleviate structural employment imbalances and ensure that each individual’s talents are fully utilized.

As a “National High-Tech Enterprise,” Tongyou will continue to leverage its industry strengths, emphasize its professional expertise, and shoulder the social responsibility of ensuring and safeguarding employment. It will assist the government in collecting, organizing, and analyzing industrial employment and labor‑force data for Bazhong, as well as assessing the current situation and challenges. By offering effective policy recommendations from a corporate perspective, Tongyou will facilitate precise matching of human resources and help alleviate structural employment imbalances, thereby making an even greater contribution to local employment stability and the steady economic and social development of Sichuan Province.
