To carry forward the red legacy and rally the strength to forge ahead, the Party branch of Tongyou Microelectronics (Sichuan) Co., Ltd. recently organized all Party members, prospective Party members, and department heads to visit the largest Red Army Martyrs’ Cemetery in China—the Sichuan–Shaanxi Revolutionary Base Area Red Army Martyrs’ Cemetery—where they held a themed Party Day activity titled “Remembering the Revolutionary Martyrs, Inheriting the Red Spirit.” Through an immersive tour, participants were guided to reflect on their original aspirations as they recalled those heroic years and to embrace their mission anew by revisiting the annals of revolutionary history.

　　Nestled amidst towering pines and verdant cypresses, the Wangping Martyrs’ Cemetery exudes solemnity. The “Memorial Tombstone for Red Army Martyrs” stands quietly, silently bearing witness to the heroic deeds of the soldiers of the Fourth Front Army. Facing the crimson Party flag, Duan Feiyang, secretary of the Party branch, led all Party members in reaffirming their oath of admission, their resolute vows echoing throughout the cemetery. This was both a return to one’s original aspiration and a steadfast commitment to faith. All assembled marched in formation to the collective burial site of the Red Army martyrs, bowed in silent mourning, and paid their highest respects to the 25,048 heroes and martyrs who rest here.

　　As the docent carefully explained, attendees paid their respects at red landmarks such as the “Mass Grave of Red Army Martyrs” and the “Wall of Honor for Heroes and Martyrs,” and listened to tales of battles like the “Bloody Battle of Niuping.” “The youngest among them was just 13 years old, and many never even left behind a name…” At this point in the narration, several Party members were moved to tears. It is precisely these unsung heroes who, with their flesh and blood, paved the way to victory; their spirit transcends time and space, serving as an enduring beacon for those striving in the new era.

　　During the event, the heartfelt account of Wang Jiangang, the third-generation caretaker of the cemetery, was deeply moving. From 1935 to the present, three generations of his family have taken turns safeguarding the site for nearly ninety years. “The martyrs are heroes who have served the nation, and they are also our own kin. As long as I am able to walk, I will keep watch!” This promise that spans a century is not only a familial vow but also a vivid lesson in Party spirit, helping Party members and cadres profoundly understand that the inheritance of the red gene requires personal commitment and continuous passing down from one generation to the next.

　　This event served not only as a spiritual cleansing but also as a rallying call to action. Party-member representatives shared that they would transform the Red Army spirit—“wisdom and courage, steadfastness, overcoming difficulties through innovation, unity and struggle, and never giving up until victory”—into a powerful driving force in their work. Taking this opportunity, the Party branch called on all party members to take the lead in areas such as technological innovation and workplace safety, harnessing the “red engine” to propel the enterprise’s high-quality development.
