On May 20, a day filled with affection, Tongyou welcomed a distinguished guest from the academic community: Academician Wang Enge of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, former President of Peking University, and Chairman of the Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory, who paid a visit to offer guidance. Accompanying him were Researcher Fu Ying, Secretary-General of the Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory and Chairwoman of Nixuan Electronics, as well as Pu Jingsong, Chairman of the Kunshan Institute of Industrial Technology, and Deputy General Manager Jin Hongjian.

Observing that the company’s integrated‑molding inductor production line is equipped with highly intelligent, state‑of‑the‑art automation, Academician Wang nodded repeatedly, picked up a sample to examine it closely, and engaged in ongoing discussions with Chairman Zhou Sheng. Noting the exceptional precision of Tongyou’s integrated‑molding inductor manufacturing process and the fact that all its production equipment is independently developed and domestically manufactured, Academician Wang expressed strong approval of Tongyou’s commitment to becoming a global leader in high‑end, precision components, affirming that Tongyou is a responsible and accountable enterprise.

The superconducting copper wire used by Tongyou in its inductor production is sourced from the technical team led by Academician Wang Enge at the Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory. Their robust research capabilities have provided Tongyou with substantial technical support. The superconducting copper wire jointly developed and manufactured by the two parties boasts excellent surface quality and high dimensional accuracy, with a significantly enhanced electrical conductivity compared to conventional copper wire. With such high‑precision copper wire material, Tongyou’s integrated‑molded inductors can deliver high power, handle large currents, and maintain low impedance—all while maintaining the same physical footprint.

Following the visit, Academician Wang offered insightful recommendations for Tongyou’s development and expressed his strong willingness to support the company’s growth. He emphasized that scientific research must be guided by market demand; only through close integration with the marketplace can science and technology truly serve as the primary driving force behind social progress.

The exchange between the two sides was extremely pleasant. Academician Wang personally signed a copy of his book on the spot and presented it to Chairman Zhou Sheng, also leaving his signature in Tongyou’s product catalog as a memento.
